Bar Supervisor

The Bar Supervisor's role is to coordinate and train staff to ensure smooth service on the floor and at the bar. They are responsible for maintaining responsible service of alcohol (RSA) standards and ensuring both the bar and floor teams adhere to these guidelines. The Bar Supervisor also oversees the organization of storage rooms, staff breaks, and cleanliness of service areas and storage facilities.
The Bar Supervisor will report to the Venue Manager and Assistant Manager.

Training:
Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on bar operations, responsible service of alcohol, and customer service protocols.
Ensure the continuing use of checklists, batching, and specs within the venue by all staff.
Update Duty Manager and Venue Manager on staff performance.
Cleaning:
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all service areas, including bars, tables, and storage rooms.
Follow and update the cleaning checklist to ensure no areas are missed.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA):
Monitor and enforce responsible service of alcohol policies and procedures.
Report any breaches of RSA to the security team or management.
Opening and Closing:
Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the bar, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to protocol.
Follow and complete checklists.
Check the bar and floor close to ensure everything is completed correctly; correct any issues as needed.
Stock Control:
Train staff to minimize waste and ensure all waste is recorded during shifts for accurate stock takes.
Attend bi-weekly stock take meetings with the Venue Manager and Duty Manager.
Service:
Coordinate staff, assigning tasks and roles during shifts.
Manage staff breaks during shifts.
Ensure patrons receive MUCHO quality service every time.
Communication:
Respond to internal communications in a timely manner, in accordance to the MUCHO Communication Policy.
